Twenty years ago, we started planting trees and hedges on this lovely peaceful holiday location, and we haven’t stopped since. Consequently, when you stay at the Holiday Park at Taupo DeBretts Spa Resort in 2007, you will find those trees providing shelter and privacy in park-like surroundings – perfect for whether you are travelling in a RV campervan or wanting to pitch a tent.

Taupo Camping

Pitch your tent or park up in your RV campervan on one of our sheltered sites, many of which have stunning views to Lake Taupo and the surrounding mountains of the National Park.

Most of our RV Recreational Vehicle RV campervan and motor home sites are powered, and some selected sites will soon have Sky TV connections with several individual DVD movie channels that can be connected to the motor home TV.

Holiday Park Facilities

Nowhere else will you find the range of facilities and services that this fantastic thermal holiday park has to offer.

Check out the spacious and sparkling communal kitchen, which is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Outside there are all-weather BBQs, with alfresco dining furniture and music playing.

Plenty of laundry and shower facilities mean no queues and a recently added unisex toilet and shower block has paraplegic facilities.

The Sky TV room with four DVD movie channels and the children’s playground keep the kids happy and of course the Taupo Hot Springs Spa, New Zealand's award-winning hot mineral spa and water park, is located on-site for extra family fun.

We are very aware of sustainability, and are especially proud of our recycling stations, conveniently situated near the kitchen and near reception. For the convenience of travellers in RV campervans, there is also a dump-station.

Our Travel Desk is open every day from 7.30am till late as a courtesy to our guests, to help you plan and book the Taupo Region’s top ten tourist activities and attractions. We, at Taupo DeBretts Spa Resort, are dedicated to providing a memorable holiday experience.

Taupo DeBretts Spa Resort and Holiday Park is a Skype Wi-Fi hot zone. Wireless Internet and Skype can be accessed from anywhere in our extensive Holiday Park Resort, provided that you have a laptop with wireless access (either built-in or you can purchase the required card).

Automatic Boom Security gates and 24-hour infra-red cameras are installed for the security of all guests. There is ample secure parking for boats and trailers.

On-site you will also find a shop and a café that is open from 7.30am to 8.30 pm.
